Dinner and Theater
We hope you are able to join us for a trip to the Amana Colonies and the Old Creamery Theater on Friday, November 10.  We will enjoy “The Church Basement Ladies, Rise Up O Men”.  Before attending the theater, we will enjoy a meal at the Ox Yoke Inn.  We will leave First Presbyterian Church at 4:00; dinner is at 5:30 and the show begins at 7:30.   Any questions, please contact Jan Bellinger or Dan Davis.

November Prime Timers
The Prime Timers will meet on Friday, November 17, at 12:00 noon in Calvin Hall.  Chicken, a potato dish, and beverage will be provided.  Please bring a vegetable, salad or dessert to share.  Our speaker will be Fran Mueller from Self Help International in Waverly.  Some of you may remember that Vern Shield founded the company in 1959 with a mission to alleviate hunger by helping people help themselves.  For three decades small tractors were built in Waverly and shipped to farmers in 48 countries around the world.  Come and hear Ms. Mueller tell how Self Help continues to fulfill their mission by working in rural communities in Ghana and Nicaragua.  Reservations are appreciated by Tuesday, November 14.  Contact Ann Sage if you are not on a calling list.

All-Church Holiday Brunch
Well, it’s that time of year again.  Summer has come and gone and here we are approaching another holiday season.  Of course that means times of fellowhsip and joyous celebration.  On Sunday, December 3, following the worship service, we will gather in Fellowship Hall for a time of good food, friends and conversation.  The menu will consist of breakfast casseroles, breads, fruits and muffins, all served buffet style.  Coffee and other beverages will be available.  Be ready to celebrate the season as we sing Christmas carols, play some fun games and join in a friendly game of Bingo, complete with prizes.  We will be looking forward to seeing you and sharing the Christmas spirit.  Reservations ma be made by calling the church office or filling out a form in the weekly bulletin.  Reservation deadline is Sunday, November 26.
